Yo, anyone ever tried buying Google reviews?

so I’ve been thinking about boosting my biz’s Google reviews cuz it’s kinda slow rn. I heard some peeps buy reviews to get that extra shine, but idk if that’s sketch or actually helps. I guess the idea is to build some reviews for trust so new folks actually feel legit about the spot.

But does it even work without getting caught? Or does Google just wipe those fake vibes away quick? Also, if you’ve done it, how’s the vibe with customers afterward? Legit wanna hear the real talk, no fluff.
