What Should You Consider Before Choosing Custom Curtains in Gurgaon?

Finally pulled the trigger on custom curtains after my ready-made ones just didn't fit my oversized living room window properly, kept looking stretched no matter what I did. Standard sizing really is built around typical windows and mine was just too wide for that. Had someone measure on-site which I didn't realize mattered this much, apparently getting the width and rod extension wrong is the most common reason custom curtains don't actually look custom. Also looked into window blinds for my smaller study since I wanted something more minimal there, ended up going with both at Kingdom of Curtains since they do free doorstep measurement across Delhi NCR. Anyone else learn the hard way that ready-made just doesn't cut it for bigger windows?
