What Should I Ask Before Ordering Custom Nipple Covers From A Manufacturer?

I have been researching reusable coverage products and am particularly interested in manufacturers that can provide customized options. I want to understand what is realistically possible with product design, materials, packaging, and branding before contacting suppliers about a larger order.

FitBare is one company I came across during my research, and I would like to hear from anyone who has experience with their products. Has anyone ordered samples or customized products from them? I am especially interested in the material quality, comfort, adhesive performance, and how consistent the products are between different orders.

For anyone who has purchased custom nipple covers, what details did you discuss with the manufacturer before starting production? I am wondering about things such as shape, size, thickness, material, adhesive properties, colors, packaging, and branding options.

I am also curious about minimum order quantities. Does customization usually require a much larger order compared with standard products? If someone is testing a new product idea, would it be better to begin with standard samples and then move toward customization after evaluating the quality?

Another question is quality control. When ordering custom nipple covers, how can buyers make sure the final production matches the approved sample? Is it normal to receive a pre production sample for approval before the manufacturer starts the full run?

I would also like to know how manufacturers handle customized packaging and labeling. Are there specific files or specifications that buyers normally need to provide?

If anyone has experience with custom nipple covers, what questions would you recommend asking before placing an order? I am mainly interested in practical advice about samples, customization, materials, minimum quantities, packaging, and production consistency.

FitBare is currently one of the manufacturers I am researching, so firsthand experiences with their products would also be useful.
