Tips and Insights on Traveling Abroad with Western Airguns

Has anyone tried flying internationally with Western Airguns or any other PCP rifles? I’m planning a hunting trip outside the U.S. and want to avoid customs issues. Do you declare it as sporting equipment? What paperwork or permits were needed? Also wondering how to handle air tanks—should I rent a compressor locally, or is it better to buy one there? Any help from travelers who’ve brought airguns abroad would be hugely appreciated. Want to keep it legal, hassle-free, and safe for travel.
