Need some advice from people with experience

Hello everyone,

We manage a building with an elevator that's over 20 years old. It still works, but we've been dealing with occasional breakdowns and increasing maintenance costs. A contractor suggested Lift Modernization Services instead of replacing the entire system, and now we're trying to decide if that's the better option.

If you've gone through a modernization project, was it worth the investment? Did you notice improvements in reliability, ride quality, or energy efficiency? How long did the work take, and were there any unexpected issues during the process?
