Is it worth buying a townhouse?

I've been thinking about buying a place in Dubai. A townhouse is what's catching my eye out of all the options. It's not as loud and crowded as living in an apartment building, but it's also not as quiet and isolated as having your own standalone house. Still got some doubts about whether it's actually worth going that route though. Anyone here actually bought one of these, was it worth it?

Honestly man, hard to say. A guy I know bought one and isn't too thrilled with it. Got a place with neighbors on both sides, and while one side's quiet and the people are pretty chill, the other side throws parties nonstop and it drives him nuts. Guess it really just comes down to who you end up next to though.

That's still a one off case though when it comes to a neighbor acting up like that. Dubai's got pretty strict laws too, so you're not gonna run into endless parties going on next door. Another thing worth pointing out is townhouses run cheaper than penthouses downtown or full on villas. At the end of the day it's basically a villa, just with neighbors attached.
