How Do You Protect Your Eyes While Scuba Diving?

I've been wondering how everyone protects their eyes during frequent dives. While masks protect our eyes underwater, factors like saltwater, UV exposure during surface intervals, and poorly fitting masks can still cause irritation or discomfort.
Some habits I've found helpful are:
-
Rinsing your eyes and mask with fresh water after every dive.
-
Using a properly fitted mask to prevent leaks.
-
Wearing UV-protective sunglasses before and after dives.
-
Staying hydrated to reduce eye dryness.
-
Never diving if you have an active eye infection.
Has anyone here experienced eye irritation, dry eyes, or blurred vision after diving? What tips or products have worked best for you?
I also came across a useful guide on maintaining eye health and preventing common eye problems that I found informative: https://theakio.com/. It covers general eye care practices that are helpful for anyone spending a lot of time outdoors or in the water.
