To fix the SQL Server Recovery Pending state without losing data, first check available disk space, storage health, and the SQL Server error log to identify the underlying issue. If a recent verified backup is available, restoring the database is generally the safest recovery option. Before attempting repair commands, take a copy of the database files if possible and avoid directly modifying the original MDF or NDF files. You can also use SQL Server's built-in recovery and consistency-checking commands, but repair options that permit data loss should be used carefully because they may remove damaged records. If these methods do not resolve the problem or no backup is available, Aryson SQL Database Recovery Software can be used to scan and recover data from corrupted MDF and NDF files. It provides Standard and Advanced recovery modes and can recover tables, views, indexes, triggers, stored procedures, and other database objects. The software lets users preview recoverable data before saving it and export the results to a new SQL Server database, SQL-compatible scripts, or CSV files. Recovering to a separate destination helps preserve the original database for further recovery attempts.
