How Can Hospitals Compare Illumination Quality Between LED Light Sources?

I’m trying to understand how hospitals can properly compare the illumination quality of different LED light sources before choosing equipment. Brightness alone doesn’t seem enough because medical staff also need consistent and comfortable lighting during clinical procedures.

I think hospitals should compare factors such as illuminance, color rendering, color temperature, light uniformity, and stability during extended use. It is also important to check whether the light produces excessive heat, glare, or noticeable flickering, as these can affect comfort and usability.

When researching a Medical LED Light Source manufacture in india, I would also look beyond the initial price. Hospitals should check the technical specifications, expected operating life, maintenance requirements, warranty or service support, and availability of replacement components. Comparing products under similar operating conditions can make the evaluation more meaningful.

Another point I’m unsure about is how hospitals should verify the manufacturer's stated illumination performance. Are product demonstrations, technical documentation, testing reports, or hands-on evaluation normally used before making a purchase?

For those who have experience selecting medical lighting, what measurements or specifications do you consider most useful when comparing different LED light sources? Also, are there any common mistakes hospitals should avoid when evaluating illumination quality?
