How Can Clinics Evaluate ENT Camera Image Quality?

I’m researching ENT cameras for a clinic and one thing I’m finding difficult is understanding how to judge image quality before making a purchase. Product specifications can look impressive, but I’m more interested in how the camera actually performs during routine examinations.

From what I understand, clinics should compare image resolution, colour accuracy, brightness, low-light performance, and how clearly small anatomical details can be seen. It also seems important to check whether the camera provides consistent images rather than relying only on sample pictures from the supplier.

While comparing options, I’ve also come across different companies involved in ENT Camera Manufacture in India. Apart from image quality, I think it would be useful to check the manufacturer’s experience, product reliability, warranty terms, availability of replacement parts, and after-sales service. Clear pricing is another factor, especially if the package includes the camera, monitor, cables, software, or other accessories.

I’d also want to know about delivery timelines and whether the supplier provides proper installation or technical support. A common mistake may be choosing based only on the lowest price without checking long-term service and compatibility with existing ENT equipment.

For those who have purchased or used ENT cameras, what specific tests or questions would you recommend before choosing one? Are there any important image-quality factors that are easy to overlook?
