How Can Buyers Compare Different Medical LED Light Sources?

I’m currently researching medical LED light sources and trying to understand how buyers can compare different options before making a purchase. There seem to be several products with different specifications, so I’m wondering which factors actually matter for clinical use rather than simply choosing based on price.
From what I understand, brightness and consistent illumination are important, but buyers should also look at light quality, colour rendering, heat generation, power consumption, and expected operating life. The design should also suit the intended application and be easy for medical staff to operate and maintain. Reliable performance over regular use seems more important than just having a high brightness specification.
While comparing suppliers, I came across the term Medical LED Light Source manufacture in india and wanted to know what buyers should check when evaluating manufacturers in this category. Should they ask about technical specifications, quality checks, warranty coverage, and availability of replacement components? I’d also like to understand whether product demonstrations are useful before making a final decision.
Cost transparency is another concern. Apart from the purchase price, installation, maintenance, accessories, servicing, and possible replacement parts could affect the overall cost. Delivery timelines and after-sales technical support are also worth confirming beforehand.
For anyone who has purchased or evaluated medical LED light sources, what specifications or questions helped you compare different products? Are there any common mistakes or red flags buyers should look out for when selecting a manufacturer or supplier?
