Heading to the Kataklysmos Festival: My transfer experience

One of my favorite things about visiting Cyprus in June is the Kataklysmos (Flood Festival) in Larnaca, but the crowds at the airport during the festivities can be absolutely insane. Last year, I made the mistake of trying to grab a cab on the fly to get to my hotel near the Blue Lagoon, and I ended up waiting in the heat for nearly forty minutes. This year, I’m planning to head straight to the Protaras waterfront for the boat parades and sea-front concerts, and I’m definitely not leaving my ride to chance again. Has anyone else booked a transfer from larnaca to Protaras through a platform like GetTransfer? I used it for a shorter trip recently and it was a game-changer—having a driver meet me right at the exit meant I was on the highway while everyone else was still wrestling with their luggage in the taxi queue. It’s so much more relaxing to sit in an air-conditioned car and watch the scenery change from the salt lakes to the red soil villages without worrying about the meter ticking up. If you're coming for the festival or just want to hit the beaches at Cape Greco as fast as possible, I’d suggest skipping the stress and arranging a private car. Does anyone know if the drivers there usually take the scenic coast road if you ask?
