    Former South Ginseng Leader To stop adopting a dog that was a gift from Kim Jong Un because he didn't receive support from the new president.

    Reuters reported that Former South Korean President Moon Chae-in said on Monday (Nov 7) he plans to stop adopting two dogs presented as gifts from North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. They met at a summit in 2018, citing the lack of support from his successor's new government.

     

    Mr Moon has adopted two Phungsanpgทรูวอลเล็ตdogs, Gomi and Songgang, which Kim has given to him since his arrival in Seoul. And Mr Moon brought the two dogs to his home after his presidency ended in May.

     

    By law, these two Phungsan dogs are classified as state property. that belongs to the President's Archives But Mr Moon's office stated that Mr Moon was assigned to take charge of the two dogs under consultation with South Korea's archives and interior ministry. which is a decision that has never happened before

     

     

     

    According to Mr Moon's office, various departments have found a solution to the law to take care of the facilitation including financial support But the effort failed due to "unexplained objections" from President Yun Seok Yeol's government.

     

    Mr Moon's office also posted on Facebook like The president's office appears to have taken a negative stance towards the handling of the two dogs towards former President Moon.

     

    Mr Yun's office denied any obstruction. By stating that the various agencies still discussing And the president's office does not play any role.

     

    Chosun Daily, South Korean media reported earlier on the same day. According to government and parliamentary sources, there was debate over whether 2.5 million won (US$1,700) in monthly subsidies would be paid to Mr Moon to adopt the dog as a gift from the North Korean leader.
