five nights at freddy's 2 (FNaF 2), released in 2014, is one of the most iconic and intense installments in the FNaF series created by Scott Cawthon. Serving as a prequel to the first game, it expands the lore, introduces new characters, and intensifies the gameplay in ways that left fans stunned.

A Prequel Set in a Chaotic Pizzeria

FNaF 2 takes place in an earlier version of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Despite being advertised as “safe,” the pizzeria is filled with malfunctioning and hostile animatronics. Players take on the role of Jeremy Fitzgerald, a night guard working from 12 AM to 6 AM, trying to survive six terrifying nights.

    🔩 New Animatronics, New Threats

One of the biggest changes is the introduction of Toy Animatronics—bright, shiny, and kid-friendly versions of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. However, these animatronics become more aggressive at night.

    The game also features:

The Puppet (Marionette) – one of the most crucial characters in FNaF lore

Balloon Boy (BB) – disables your flashlight, making Foxy more dangerous

Withered Animatronics – older, deteriorated versions returning to roam the halls

Each animatronic behaves differently, forcing players to learn patterns and react quickly.
