Do you also buy secondhand clothing online for dive trips?

I’m new to DiveKeeper and really like the idea of a place where divers can share spots, tips and gear experiences. It’s super helpful when planning trips and trying to avoid expensive mistakes with equipment and travel.

Besides trying to save money on gear and travel, I also try to be a bit more sustainable with what I wear. For everyday life and for trips, I often look for secondhand clothing online instead of always buying brand‑new pieces. It’s a good way to cut costs and reduce waste a little, especially when you need casual outfits for before/after dives or for longer holidays.

I’m curious:

Do you ever buy clothes secondhand specifically for dive travel (warm layers, casual wear, etc.)?

Any tips on what type of clothing works best around boats, beaches and changing weather?

And for dive gear itself, are there items you’re comfortable buying used and others you always buy new?
