    I’ve been thinking a lot about switching my focus from just lifting weights to more athletic performance training. Things like speed drills, plyometrics, and conditioning sound more exciting than repeating the same old bodybuilding split.

    At the same time, I think I’d benefit from some structured personal fitness training near me to stay consistent. My worry is whether I’ll find a trainer who can do both—help me improve athletic abilities while also covering the basics of strength and overall fitness.
