Checking a new house

My wife and I are currently house hunting and it is stressful enough without worrying about invisible hazards. We looked at a beautiful place last week that was perfect, but it was suspiciously cheap. I noticed some high tension power lines about two streets over. I always bring my EMF meter to viewings now, just to be safe. As soon as we stepped into the backyard, the numbers on the screen started climbing. Inside the master bedroom, the magnetic field was well above the recommended safety limits even with the power off. The real estate agent was pretty surprised when I showed him the readings. We decided to pass on that house. It might have saved us from serious health issues down the line. I highly recommend keeping one in your pocket when looking at property, it is a small investment that can save you from buying a dangerous home.
