What’s Holding Us Back from Fully Adopting Evidence-Based Practices?

While many of us agree that evidence based practices are essential, actually putting them into practice isn’t always easy. I’ve noticed a few common roadblocks:

    • Lack of access to peer-reviewed research or data

    • Time constraints—researching best practices isn’t always feasible in busy environments

    • Resistance to change from people who prefer traditional methods

In healthcare and education, for example, there’s a ton of research available—but not all professionals are trained to interpret or apply it effectively. This creates a gap between theory and practice.

    So here’s my question:
What are the biggest barriers you've faced in implementing evidence-based practices?
And if you’ve overcome them—how did you do it?

Let’s help each other bridge the gap between knowledge and action.
