Can You See Clearly Underwater Without Glasses?

Just a curious question for other divers. If someone normally wears glasses, how do they see clearly underwater while diving? I know masks help a lot, but I was wondering how people manage if their eyesight is weak. Do divers use prescription masks or special lenses? I also wonder if someone has had vision correction and no longer needs glasses, does it make diving easier for them? I’m thinking about getting my eyesight checked because clear vision is important for diving. Has anyone here had a vision correction procedure and noticed a difference while diving? Would love to hear your experience.
