Are Bark Phones good for children?

Most Bark Phone reviews explain that these phones can be a good tool for parents that want their child to be able to have a smartphone but that they also want them to have features already installed into the phone itself rather than a separate parental monitoring app that parents will have to download and install onto their own phones. Parents will be able to screen apps and contacts and set screen time limits, block inappropriate websites, track the whereabouts and receive alerts about things that could potentially be dangerous with the phone. Bark phone review also stated that deleted texts will be accessible through the parental control interface. However, the features may be overwhelming and disappointing for an older teen's need for independence. I think this bark review concludes that these are most effective for younger kids on their first phones.
