Anyone else trying to make sense of Common Core?

I’ve been looking through Common Core material lately, and I’m curious how other people are preparing for assessments. Some of the concepts seem pretty straightforward, while others take a bit more practice to really click.

For teachers, parents, or students who have used practice questions, did you find them helpful? Or was there another approach that made things easier to understand?
