Prince Harry, born Henry Charles Albert David in 1984, is the younger child of King Charles III and the Princess Diana, who is late. From early on, his life was shaped by public attention and the obligations of being part of the British Royal Family. After the death of his mother in 1997, Harry and his older brother Prince William grew up under intense media scrutiny, which had a long-term influence on how he later approached privacy and public life. Despite this pressure, he attended Eton College and gradually developed a public role that balanced formal duties with individual interests and difficulties.

One of the most defining chapters of Harry’s early adulthood was his military career. He trained at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and was commissioned into the British Army, where he served as an officer in the Blues and Royals regiment. Harry completed two tours of duty in Afghanistan, first in 2007–2008 and later in 2012–2013, serving as an Apache helicopter pilot. His military service became a significant part of his public identity, as it was relatively uncommon for senior royals to serve in active combat zones in modern times. This experience also shaped his later advocacy for veterans and wounded service members.

As a working royal, Prince Harry took on a variety of public engagements, often focusing on youth welfare, mental health awareness, and support for injured veterans. He co-founded the Invictus Games in 2014, an international adaptive sports event for wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women, which became one of his most notable philanthropic achievements. Alongside this, he participated in numerous official duties representing the monarchy, both in the United Kingdom and abroad, helping maintain diplomatic and charitable connections associated with the royal institution.

His marriage to Meghan Markle in 2018 marked a crucial shift in his public life. The wedding was a globally watched event, but it was followed by increasing media attention and scrutiny of their relationship and roles within the monarchy. In 2020, Harry and Meghan stepped back from senior royal duties, a decision widely referred to in the media as “Megxit”. They subsequently relocated to North America, where they sought greater independence while continuing public-facing projects through media productPrince Harryion, interviews, and charitable initiatives.

In recent years, Prince Harry’s life has been defined by a mix of philanthropy, media ventures, and ongoing discussions about his relationship with the royal institution. He has spoken publicly about mental health, grief, and the pressures of royal life, often emphasizing the importance of psychological well-being and openness. At the same time, his relationship with other members of the British Royal Family, including King Charles III and Prince William, has been reported as strained at various points, especially following interviews, documentaries, and his memoir Spare. Today, Harry continues to balance private family life with public advocacy, maintaining a global profile shaped by both tradition and change.
